At Least Four Killed After Plane Crash Lands in Siberia

At least four people were killed after an aircraft travelling to a regional airport in Siberia, Russia, crash landed near its destination airport, according to authorities.

The L-410 twin engine aircraft was carrying 14 passengers and two crew members, according to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to a report from flight safety analysts, the plane was travelling from Irkutsk airport to Kazachinskoye airport and crashed 4km outside the destination runway.

The same type of aircraft crashed in June in Siberia, killing five, reports said.
