Survivors of the Manchester Arena terrorist attack gave evidence to the official inquiry. The individuals described their experiences of the 2017 suicide bombing after the Ariana Grande concert. Twenty-three people including the attacker died and hundreds were injured. Including Martin Hibbert and his daughter, Eve, who were only 6m away from the bomb. He described how late paramedics were late to arrive at the scene to help them. He described how long it took for paramedics to arrive at the scene to help them. Claire Booth and Bradley Hurley also gave evidence. Their siblings were among those who died. The investigation also found that there were multiple “missed opportunities” by security at the arena before the attack, including not identifying the suicide bomber as a threat to the public.
