Avengers: Infinity War stars in Singapore
Some of the cast and crew of Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War were in Singapore on Monday (16 April) for a massive fan event at Marina Bay Sands. Led by co-director Joe Russo and executive producer Trinh Tran, actress Karen Gillan (Nebula) and actors Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange) and Robert Downey Jr (Tony Stark/Iron Man) thrilled the crowd of 4,000 fans with autographs and selfies. Another 3,000 fans were inside one of the exhibition halls watching a live simulcast of the event, which was also broadcast on Facebook Live via the Marvel fan page. Some waited from the night before to catch a glimpse of the stars, who were also at a press conference the day before. Singapore will be one of the first countries to see Avengers: Infinity War when it opens on 25 April. The film is the culmination of a decade's worth of Marvel movies, and the 19th film in a franchise that started in 2008 with Iron Man.
