Plant-based food company, Impossible Foods, and McDonald’s have abandoned plans for a partnership over concerns that the company would be unable to produce enough product for the fast-food chain.

    This means two things:

    1) McD's was talking to Impossible, not Beyond
    2) Beyond has the same issue, so if McD's even bothers with this ridiculous fad, they'll go with Tyson, Unilever, Nestle, etc., operations that can scale.

    There's going to be a whole lot of wrecked bagholders, ultimately. I bet most of you are pushing this thing higher with money you can't afford to lose that you borrowed on credit cards.

    fake meats are only suitable for the few ridiculous vegan restaurants in the long run. Mainstream is just an experiment that will fail after the fad fades. More people want real food than fake food. Vegans shouldn't even really eat this fake food.
