Soldier Reunited With Dog He Rescued in Syria

A specialist in the United States Army was reunited with a puppy he met and rescued while serving in Syria at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida on April 16, the Okaloosa Board of County Commissioners said.

Army Spc. Tyler Mosley took in Daisy after she was found by an explosive ordnance disposal technician next to her deceased sibling, local media reported.

He adopted Daisy through the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals International, an organization that reunites military veterans with animals they met during service.
