Sydney Police Reunite Homeless Man With Pet Rat
Police in Sydney, New South Wales, reunited a homeless man with his pet rat on Thursday, April 18.
Lucy the rat went missing when the man left her on a milk crate in Sydney while he used a nearby toilet on Saturday, April 6.
A passer-by, under the impression that Lucy had been abandoned, took the rat home and cared for her, police said.
In a video posted to the New South Wales Facebook page, the man says it’s “wonderful” to have Lucy back.
