Morganton, North Carolina, Post Office Parking Lot Swallowed by Sinkhole
Part of the parking lot of the United States Post Office in Morganton, North Carolina, collapsed in a sinkhole on November 12, as heavy rains from Tropical Storm Eta inundated the area.
Historic rainfall caused widespread flooding in North Carolina on Thursday, November 12, leading to at least four deaths, stranding vehicles, and making some streets completely “impassable,” local reports said.
