Star Wars Day 2018 in Singapore

Fans both in and out of costumes gathered at the F1 Pit Building in Singapore on Friday (4 May) for the annual Star Wars Day celebrations.

A host of May the Fourth events are taking place over two days, and visitors to the event can get to see Imperial Marches, rock with a costumed band or browse for Star Wars-related merchandise from both shops and fans.

Other activities include participating in games for charity, or taking part in workshops to build your own lightsabers.

In addition to the 501st and Rebel Legions as well as the lightsaber-performance orgnanisation FightSaber, the founder of the 501st, Albin Johnson, is also in Singapore for this year's celebrations, together with his own astrodroid, R2-KT.

The celebrations continue until Saturday (5 May).
