Lake Fire Burns Thousands of Acres in Los Angeles County

The Lake Fire has burned more than 10,000 acres in Los Angeles County, California, as of Thursday, August 13, according to fire officials.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department said firefighters were facing hot and dry conditions that may increase fire activity on Thursday. The fire was burning near Lake Hughes, a community near the Santa Clarita Valley.
